Simple Truths will correct the human beliefs by Michael Aleph |
![]() Matthew 5:45-48 International Standard Version (ISV) 45 so that you will become children of your Father in heaven because he makes his sun rise on both evil and good people, and he lets the rain fall on the righteous and the unrighteous. 46 If you love those who love you, what reward will you have? Even the tax collectors do the same, don't they? 47 And if you greet only your relatives, that's no great thing you're doing. Even the unbelievers do the same, don't they? 48 So be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect. "On both evil and good people, he makes his sun rise, and he lets the rain fall on the righteous and the unrighteous," sounds to be true. Many would have thought that the teaching of Jesus was correct. But, the content covers only one aspect of the work of the sun and rain. The sun sometimes dries lands up. Droughts have struck many regions. Plants do not grow, and crops die. Starvation has occurred, and it killed many, many people. It has happened many times all over the world. Jesus did not mention natural disasters and that many people died due to bad weather, earthquakes, and tsunamis. Jesus might have understood that catastrophes are not by God. Jesus took up only one side of nature and said, "Be perfect as your heavenly Father is perfect. Is this not a one-sided idea? Isn't it a mistake to say that God is good, taking only the side that seems right? Isn't hiding important ideas the same as fooling people? Or is it due to a lack of awareness of Jesus? Today the impact or influence of the sun is understood as a natural phenomenon. Intervention by God is not considered possible. The current understanding is that "the occurrence of a disaster is not related to the will of God. People may still say that there is no God nor Buddha when a catastrophe happens. It is a human idea and belief to think so. Humankind should face reality. The God of Jesus is not a good example of perfection for humans. Being perfect is a condition when there is no mistake, no need to reflect, and no progress. The definition of human beings is not yet known. Humans do not know what they are. Because human beings make mistakes, they are neither perfect nor absolute. But just because humans are not perfect, there is a reason that they can make progress. They can reflect on, improve, and make progress. What is 100% correct, or to make no mistakes is the same as denying progress. As humans have brains, they manage words, think by words, and learn lessons. They can reflect on, improve, and make progress. Freedom comes from there. Perfection is a denial of human progress and also a denial of human freedom. Therefore, humans should not have a complete definition - complete means to lose freedom. Human beings will lose freedom if they follow the words to be perfect. |
